Chuck Discovers Dipping Chocolate

4oz 60% Girardelli simi sweet baking chips
1 tsp peanut oil
Stuff to dip like crystallized ginger, strawberries, cherries

Instructions

Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave (heat 30 seconds, stir, repeat). Stir in oil, cool slightly (about 90 degrees) and dip. A toothpick helps when dipping, leave it in place to make the dipped delicacy easier to eat at your next party. Put dipped items on wax paper to cool for 15 minutes or so. May need the fridge in summer.

Maraschino cherries soaked in ginger syrup a few days then dipped in chocolate is excelent.
